Fifth Third Bank v. E. Gilbert, 13 M1-165419
Successfully obtained summary judgment for the homeowner and against the bank, with the Court deciding that the bank was not entitled to collect on a $197,000 second mortgage. 

B. Gordils v. S. Peterson, Cook County

Successfully obtained six-figure resolution on personal injury matter involving a motor vehicle accident where plaintiff suffered serious arm injuries

Bank of America v. D. Cochrane, 12 CH 44920

Successfully defended Cook County residential foreclosure action for three (3) years, then resolved matter through a loan modification which included a principal reduction of approximately 45% of the prior loan balance with an interest rate of only 2%.

PNC Bank v. R Benedyk, et. al., 10 CH 7109

Successfully defended DuPage County residential foreclosure case for approximately five (5) years, then resolved matter involving the lender forgiving the balance of the loan while providing the homeowners with relocation assistance and several months to relocate.

Christensen v. Fifth Third, 10 CV 2177

Prosecuted successfully Truth In Lending Act claim in US District Court for homeowners against their lender for violations of TILA, while at the same time defending a residential foreclosure proceeding in Kendall County. Obtained award through trial for homeowners which included a rescission of their mortgage transaction along with statutory penalties and fees.

Grimaldi v. Glen Oaks, 98 L 3740

Obtained large, six figure, lump sum settlement from nursing home to family of facility 83 year old male resident who suffered traumatic injury and death while being a resident of that facility.

Cockcayne v. Flex O Glass, 06 L 12156

Prosecuted successful claim for employee against employer for failure of the employer to pay earned commissions to employee.

Czorny v. Howard, 06 CV 1968

Successfully prosecuted personal injury claim in the US District Court, based upon improper operation of a motor vehicle which resulted in personal injury to both plaintiffs

LaSalle Bank v. WW Grainger Inc., 05 L 10880

Successfully prosecuted claim against shipping company in excess of $125,000 for failure to properly ship goods and merchandise.

Nendza v. Ameriscan, 98 WC 41196

Successfully prosecuted worker's compensation claim against employer and obtained large settlement which included compensation for injuries and wage differential.
